Medi-Care Activities

Adopted 185 Villages of Fatehgarh Sahib

Mehar Baba Charitable Trust is actively working with some of the top names in medical professions (such as Fortis) to provide free Medi-Care services to the under-previleged people of 185 Villages falling under Fatehgarh Sahib Distt.

Our team of field workers regularly visits these villages to do the pre-registration of patients. All pre-registered patients are then brought and catered at our monthly organised OPD at Bassi Pathana MHKCDC.

Health Awareness Roadshows

Every month MBCT Field Teams visit 8-10 villages in morning 6am for 3 hours for conducting:

• Diabetes & BP Awareness & Checkup Camps and offer free treatment at our monthly clinic.
• Anemic Condition testing for Female Child & Pregnant Women & offer visit to our clinic for treatment.
• Breast Cancer & Cervix Problems awareness and Registration for Roko-Cancer Camp.
• About Drug Abuse awareness.
• Survery of Over-weight to exhibit linkage to Health Problem of an individual.

Types of Medical Camps Organised at MHKCDC

Following type of Medical Camps are organised every month where thousands of patients are diagonosed and operated upon:

• Eye Camps
  - Cataract removal and fitting of Intra-Occular lenses by cold laser technology
• Camp for Anemic Girl Child
• Multi-Specialty Medical Camp
  - Cardio, Gaynae, Ortopadic, Skin, Endo
• Blood Donation Camps
• National Pulse Polio Campaign

Apart from these regular camps, MBCT has been facilitating special operations and treatments such as:

• Cleft Lip Plastic Surgery
• Eye Ball Replacement Surgeries
• Plugging holes in the heart
• Correcting undecended Testicles

In addition to the above regular Medi-Care activities, MBCT is working for the adopted 185 villages by building DATA BANKS of:

• Population
• Poverty Level
• Exsistence of government facilities
  - Schools, Dispenseries etc…
• Established Contact Points
