Matter:
The Trust has launched a gigantic effort for making District Fatehgarh Sahib Cataract Free. The First leg started on 15th October to 25 Novemeber 2011, The OPD being held at Mata Harnam Kaur Community Development Center, Bassi Pathana  Chariman Eye Project Rtn.Jagmohan Goel & H.S.Mejie Founder Trustee Of MBCT jointly inaugurated the Camp.

TRUST provides the medicine, Transport, cataract removal surgery & IOL replacements Free. 

Special News of this Camp:
Trust achieved its target 50% to declare District Fatehgarh Sahib free from Cataract. In February and March 2012 trust will organized such Cataract Free camps again and by 2014 the trust will achieve its target.

THIS FREE EYE CAMP WAS ORGANISED IN THE MEMORY OF HARBAKSH KAUR MEJIE WITH THE CO-OPERATION OF ROTARY CHANDIGARH CITY BEAUTIFUL.

Chief Minister Commending MBCT Women Empowerment Program

Honble’ Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal commended Mehar Baba Charitable Trust for it’s Women Empowerment Program and appreciated the Phulkari made by the girls from Damheri and Khalsapur.

These girls hailing from poor economic backgrounds were happy and encouraged by the visit of the Chief Minister and many other dignitaries.

MBCT Celebrates Foundation Day 2009

Foundation Day of Mehar Baba Charitable Trust was dedicated to the Village Community Leaders, Social Workers and Intellectuals from 160 Villages adopted by the Trust, who were all “Guest of Honour” for Sunday 20, 2009.

They met with the children of MBCT’s Hockey Nursery. Later they also met with the team of Phulkari Makers of Bassi Pathana (MBCT) and commended their work.

Over 400 guest attended the function. On this occasion, the students gave an excellent cultural performance which was appreciated by all the guests.

Diploma certificates were also awarded to successful students.Everyone enjoyed the lunch thereafter.

 Mehar Baba Charitable Trust has Spearheared a NEW Socio awareness campaign ie.Breast & cervix Cancer Awareness.This has been initiared with the support of Manjit Kaur Chawla Trust England. “CANCER ROKO”. A Total of 56 Patients come for checking.This was a Effort of MBCT Bassi Pathanan,MKC Trust England & Bawa Nursing Home.
